Apple’s iPhone 7 event has come and gone and now it’s Google’s turn to show off what it’s been cooking up over the past year with its big Oct. 4th smartphone event. We’re expecting the big G to roll out two new handsets: the 5-inch Pixel and the 5.5-inch Pixel XL. And both phones are aimed squarely at taking on the likes of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus and Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and the non-explodey version of the Galaxy Note7.
But that’s not all Google might roll out. The tech giant is also supposed to show off its Amazon Echo competitor Google Home, an upgraded version of its Chromecast streaming device and Google’s own virtual reality headset and software Daydream VR. We’re here live so stay tuned for all of the news as it happens.
